Volleyball Recap: Hilltop Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hilltop lost against Mission Bay back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancers came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 3-0. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10, 25-10.

Brynn Sloan was a one-woman wrecking crew For Mission Bay. as she had 12 digs and four aces. Sloan has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played. Hunter Hobson French also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Hilltop's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Mission Bay, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 19-15.

Coming up, Hilltop will face off against Southwest SD at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mission Bay, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lincoln on the 21st.
