Clear Springs had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Atascocita Eagles on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Eagles on Thursday, they had to take a 13-11 defeat.
Jenna Hashaw tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits.
On the hitting side, Erianna Garcia was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Makenzie Thomas, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
