Basketball Game Preview: Clayton Bulldogs vs. Eagletown Eagles

The Clayton Bulldogs will face off against the Eagletown Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clayton is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Clayton lost to Bennington on the road by a 45-31 margin.

Meanwhile, Eagletown came up short against Moyers on Tuesday and fell 69-56. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 313th, while the Tigers are ranked 152nd).

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Eagletown, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.

Clayton might still be hurting after the 57-31 loss they got from Eagletown when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Clayton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
