Basketball Recap: Buckeye Comes Up Short

Buckeye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakewood Rangers. The contest marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Buckeye's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Lakewood, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Buckeye wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-69 win against Rocky River on the 20th. As for Lakewood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-42 victory against North Olmsted on the 19th.
