Softball Game Preview: New Haven Rockets vs. Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans

The New Haven Rockets will take on the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for New Haven and 19 for Sterling Heights Stevenson dating back to last season.

Port Huron hit New Haven with a eight-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rockets lost 12-1 to the Red Hawks.

Gabrielle (Gabby) Goetz Class 2025 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Sterling Heights Stevenson came up short against Regina on Saturday, falling 15-1.

Sterling Heights Stevenson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was GRACE TOON, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Sterling Heights Stevenson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
