Baseball Game Preview: Tri-Village Patriots vs. Randolph Southern Rebels

The Tri-Village Patriots are taking a road trip to challenge the Randolph Southern Rebels at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Tri-Village will be strutting in after a victory while Randolph Southern will be coming in after a defeat.

Tri-Village's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Emmanuel Christian Academy by a score of 3-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Randolph Southern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to Shenandoah.

Randolph Southern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Allen, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double was Allen's first of the season.

Randolph Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Tri-Village, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Tri-Village skirted past Randolph Southern 10-9 in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
