Baseball Recap: Cedarcrest Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Cedarcrest got themselves on the board against Lindbergh on Monday, but Lindbergh never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 6-0 win. The Red Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Reed Gilmore was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Carter Smith was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Cedarcrest's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Lindbergh, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
