Softball Recap: Berry Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Berry faced off against Fayette County on Saturday. The Berry Wildcats fell just short of the Fayette County Tigers by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 27, 2024.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fayette County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

Coincidentally, Berry and Fayette County will both be playing South Lamar the next time they take the field. Fayette County will head out to face South Lamar on Saturday, while Berry will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
