Softball Recap: Minneota Beats Yellow Medicine East for Their Second Straight Win

Minneota won the last time they faced Yellow Medicine East and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings' pitcher stepped up to hand the Sting a 3-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

The result came thanks to Madison Hennen's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, Minneota saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joelle Otto, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Minneota's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Yellow Medicine East, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
