Baseball Recap: Pryor Beats Mcalester for Their Third Straight Win

Pryor came out on top against McAlester on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Tigers took their match against the Buffaloes 7-2. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jaron Bailey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Talan Foster was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Sergio Banuelos, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

Pryor's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-10. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for McAlester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-13.

Pryor will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Buffaloes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
