Winters is 8-1-1 against Pierce since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will welcome the Bears at 5:30 p.m. Winters is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Winters proved they can win big on Monday (they won by four) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Gridley, sneaking past 2-1. The win was all the more spectacular given Winters' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Gridley are ranked 97th).

Alejandro Murillo was the driving force of Winters' attack as he scored both of Winters' goals, bringing his season total up to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Pierce hasn't lost a match since December 12, 2025, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Colusa. That's two games straight that Pierce have won by exactly two goals.

Pierce pushed their record up to 10-1-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Winters, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3-2.
