Preview: The Burlington School Spartans vs. Jordan Falcons
After four games on the road, The Burlington School is heading back home. They will take on the Jordan Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in The Burlington School's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Even though Blue Ridge scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, The Burlington School still came out on top. The Burlington School took their contest against Blue Ridge 68-57.
It was another big night for Zion Walker, who scored 20 points. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matija Moravcevic, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Jordan pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Panther Creek at home and fell 89-57.
Their wins bumped The Burlington School to 8-2 and Blue Ridge to 2-1.
The Burlington School strolled past Jordan when the teams last played back in February by a score of 76-62. Will The Burlington School repeat their success, or does Jordan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
