Volleyball Recap: West End Comes Up Short

West End lost against Ashville back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, West End sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 15-8.

West End's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Ashville, they pushed their record up to 42-6 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home.

Coming up, West End will square off against Gaston at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ashville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gaylesville on the 7th.
