Baseball Recap: Bel Air Comes Up Short

Bel Air lost to Horizon on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlanders fell 7-2 to the Scorpions. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bel Air saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Muniz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Bel Air's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Horizon, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bel Air will challenge Parkland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Matadors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.17 runs per game on average), something the Highlanders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Horizon, they will be playing at home against Cathedral at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
