Le Roy is a perfect 5-0 against Dansville since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Oatkan Knights will challenge the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Le Roy has three straight wins, Dansville has 16 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Le Roy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Irondequoit on Saturday. The Oatkan Knights were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Eagles. The Oatkan Knights not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2nd (when they won 12-4).

Meanwhile, Dansville came up short against Hornell on Friday and fell 9-5.

Dansville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elliot Hanks, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs. Taylor Hamsher also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Dansville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Le Roy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Everything went Le Roy's way against Dansville in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, as Le Roy made off with an 8-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Oatkan Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
