Lake City played against Marion on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Lake City is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8. As for Marion, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Coincidentally, Lake City and Marion will both be playing Manning the next time they take the pitch. The Swamp Foxes will host the Monarchs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
