Soccer Game Preview: Forest Park vs. Charles J. Colgan

Forest Park is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Thursday. They will head out to take on the Charles J. Colgan Sharks at 7:00 p.m. Forest Park is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, Forest Park narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Osbourn Park 3-2.

Forest Park hit Osbourn Park with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Enzo Garay, Garrett Mixon, and Connor Messick.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Charles J. Colgan was forced to settle for a draw. They and Woodbridge finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Monday.

With that draw, Charles J. Colgan's record moves to 2-0-1. As for Forest Park, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

Forest Park suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Charles J. Colgan in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Forest Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
