Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lassiter). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 72-27 stomp they got against the Chestatee War Eagles. With the Trojans ahead 35-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Among those leading the charge was Braeden Lucas, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Wright, who posted six points and six assists.

Lassiter was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Lassiter's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Chestatee, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lassiter will take on Roswell at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chestatee, they will challenge Dawson County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
