Soccer Recap: Northampton Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Northampton has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. That's two games in a row now that Northampton have lost by just one goal.

Northampton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Easton Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Northampton will be playing at home against East Stroudsburg South at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Easton Area, they will venture away from home to square off against Emmaus at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Easton Area will need to watch out since Emmaus have now posted at least four goals in their last five matches.
