Softball Recap: Kenedy Lions vs. Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats

After flying high against Pettus last Friday, Kenedy came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 12-1.

Kenedy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylie DeLeon, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Kenedy's loss dropped their record down to 16-11-1. As for Skidmore-Tynan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Kenedy will take on Woodsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Skidmore-Tynan, they will face off against Agua Dulce at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
