Softball Recap: Greenon Takes a Loss

Greenon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethel Bees. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly three runs.

Peyton Walker made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Madelyn Diller was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Greenon's record now sits at 6-17. As for Bethel, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season.

Greenon will venture away from home to square off against Madison Plains at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bethel, they will take on Eaton in a tournament on Tuesday.
