Morgan Township won the last time they faced Hanover Central, and Madi Lemmons did her part to make sure it happened again. The Morgan Township Cherokees walked away with a 38-31 win over the Hanover Central Wildcats on Monday thanks in part to Lemmons, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Hanover Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sienna Stilley, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Eckart, who posted six points.

Morgan Township's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hanover Central, they moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Morgan Township will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hanover Central and Andrean will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
