Lyndhurst won the last time they faced Ridgefield Memorial and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Golden Bears won by a run and slipped past the Royals 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Bears have posted since May 10, 2025.

Allie Ruiz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia Syed, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Aitana Lozano also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Lyndhurst's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Ridgefield Memorial, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
