Chenango Valley triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Warren Walters

Recap: Chenango Valley Warriors vs. Windsor Central Black Knights

The Chenango Valley Warriors can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They took down Windsor Central 65-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chenango Valley also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

It was another big night for Warren Walters, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Kresge, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two blocks.

Chenango Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Windsor Central, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home.

Chenango Valley will take on Susquehanna Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Susquehanna Valley is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Windsor Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seton Catholic Central at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. Seton Catholic Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Windsor Central in New York (Seton Catholic Central is ranked 46th, while Windsor Central is ranked 719th).
