The Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Timber Creek Regional Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Camden County Vo-Tech will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Camden County Vo-Tech is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since May 11, 2024 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Oakcrest, sneaking past 5-4.

Chase LaRochelle and Denzel Wiggins did most of the damage at the plate: LaRochelle went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI, while Wiggins went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave LaRochelle a new career-high. Matt DeCicco also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Timber Creek Regional nor Haddon Heights made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Chargers fell just short of the Garnets by a score of 2-1. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Anthony Hedenberg was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Timber Creek Regional is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-10 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Timber Creek Regional saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Scanlan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Camden County Vo-Tech pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Timber Creek Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
Timber Creek Regional's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Camden County Vo-Tech hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. It's a different story for Timber Creek Regional, though, as they've only averaged .249. Will they be able to contain Camden County Vo-Tech's hitters?
Camden County Vo-Tech suffered a grim 18-5 defeat to Timber Creek Regional in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
