Softball Recap: Penns Valley Area Takes a Loss

Penns Valley Area fell victim to Bald Eagle Area and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Penns Valley Area's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Bald Eagle Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penns Valley Area will venture away from home to take on Philipsburg-Osceola at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bald Eagle Area, they will take on Williamsport at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
