Baseball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fairfield Central last Tuesday, Lancaster came back down to earth. The Lancaster Bruins came up short against the Lewisville Lions on Saturday, falling 14-4. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Parker McGee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Deuce Truesdale, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Lancaster now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lewisville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Lancaster didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-2 loss against Nation Ford on the 3rd. As for Lewisville, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-5 win against Buford on the 3rd.
