Arendell Parrott Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 46-45 win over the St. David's Warriors. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 46-31 loss the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why St. David's lost, don't look at Will Migdal. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points along with five boards and five steals. Henry Morisey was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.

St. David's dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Arendell Parrott Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-42 victory against Rocky Mount Academy on the 18th. As for St. David's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-49 win against Oak Ridge Military Academy on the 13th.
