Softball Recap: Coppell Takes a Loss

Coppell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Hebron Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 on March 5th.

Kimber Kerrigan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and one double.

Coppell's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10-1. As for Hebron, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Coppell will challenge Guyer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Guyer will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Coppell surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hebron, they will square off against Marcus at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
