Baseball Game Preview: Upperman Bees vs. White County Warriors

For the second straight game, Upperman will face off against White County. The Bees will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Upperman turned things around against White County on Monday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Warriors.

Jackson Green spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 17 Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Upperman is 6-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-11 otherwise.

At the plate, Upperman saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Denton Huddleston, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Upperman now has a winning record of 14-13. As for White County, they moved to 12-12 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
