Volleyball Recap: Mt. Hope Huskies vs. Achievement First Providence Falcons
Mt. Hope barely beat Achievement First Providence the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won four matchups in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 25-22.
Jacob Betres paced Mt. Hope's offense, picking up nine kills. Betres got some help from Dylan DeOliveira and his 25 assists. Betres was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
Achievement First Providence lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was James Gilbert, who had four digs, three aces, and one block.
