Lake Norman put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the West Cabarrus Wolverines. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Tuesday.

Carson Beaver and Noah Jacobsen did most of the damage at the plate: Beaver went 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI, while Jacobsen scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That triple was Beaver's first of the season.

Lake Norman's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for West Cabarrus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Lake Norman has already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Davie on the 11th. As for West Cabarrus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-6 victory against Robinson on the 8th.
