Baseball Recap: Northside Methodist Academy Takes a Loss

Northside Methodist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Dale County Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in February.

Jeremy Jeffcoat was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Siemens, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Northside Methodist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Dale County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside Methodist Academy will face off against Emmanuel Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dale County, they will square off against Houston Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Raiders have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
