Volleyball Recap: Seminole Ridge Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

Seminole Ridge won the last time they faced Dr. Joaquin Garcia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Seminole Ridge Hawks came out on top against the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Dr. Joaquin Garcia scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Michael Deeds paced Seminole Ridge's offense, picking up 18 kills. Deeds got some help from Evan Holowecky and his 48 assists. Finally, Carson Kramer kept Seminole Ridge's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Seminole Ridge's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Seminole Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against American Heritage on the 19th. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they will be taking part in a tournament against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
