Volleyball Recap: Haldane Comes Up Short

Haldane lost against Hendrick Hudson back in October of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Sailors. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 25-8.

Plum Severs paced Haldane's offense, picking up two kills. Severs got some help from Gianna Squillace and her four assists.

Haldane's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hendrick Hudson, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haldane will square off against Tuckahoe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hendrick Hudson, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nanuet at 4:30 p.m. on October 17.
