Kankakee waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rich Township Raptors a 7-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Jocelyn Sanchez as she scored four goals for her team.

Kankakee pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four games. As for Rich Township, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Coincidentally, Kankakee and Rich Township will both be playing Bloom the next time they take the pitch. The Kays will head out to face the Blazing Trojan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Raptors will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
