High school football is taking off across the country and six Top 25 teams were in action last week and they combined to outscore the opposition 295-75. No. 5 Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) improved to 2-0 after a 55-21 win over (Powder Springs, Ga.). The Rams have outscored their first two opponents 106-34.

No. 9 Lowndes (Valdosta, Ga.) has 16 wins in its past 17 games after rolling past Griffin (Ga.) 45-6.
Jaxson Dart and No. 14 Corner Canyon (Draper, Utah) continue to look impressive in 2020, beating Alta (Sandy, Utah) 56-6 to improve to 5-0 and reel off its state-best 31st consecutive win. Dart has thrown for 1,714 yards and 23 touchdowns through five games, adding 355 rushing yards and seven scores.
No. 15 Trinity (Louisville) cruised to a 44-7 season opening win over Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati) with a running clock throughout the second half.
No. 20 Thompson (Alabaster, Ala.) and No. 23 Pickerington Central (Pickerington, Ohio) were the other two Top 25 teams to win this past week.
Patrick Surtain and No. 22 American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) opens its season against No. 36 Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, Fla.) on Sept. 18 in one of the biggest games next week.
No. 23 Pickerington Central moved to 3-0 with a 47-0 win over Central Crossing.
