            Softball Recap: Gibson Southern Titans vs. Tecumseh Braves        
        
		
        
        
            Gibson Southern came into their game  on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against  the Tecumseh Braves, falling  8-1. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in April of 2024.
 Gibson Southern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Carly Potts, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run and one  double.
Gibson Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Tecumseh, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gibson Southern will take on North Posey at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 9.5  runs per game this season. As for Tecumseh, they will face off against Evansville Mater Dei at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
