Softball Recap: Cypress Creek Comes Up Short

Cypress Creek fell victim to Langham Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Langham Creek Lobos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 10-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Cypress Creek has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. The win was the sixth in a row for Langham Creek, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Cypress Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Tomball Memorial on the 1st. As for Langham Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Atascocita on the 28th.
