Despite the defeat, Central Cambria saw an underclassman step up: sophomore JD Brouse shot 46% from the field on his way to 14 points. Brouse is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last ten games he's played. Garrett James also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, Clearfield suffered their closest loss since January 29, 2025 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Hollidaysburg by a score of 57-55.

Clearfield's defeat dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Central Cambria, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
