Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Patriots vs. Redan Raiders

The Heritage Patriots will take on the Redan Raiders in a holiday battle at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Heritage and ten for Redan dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Heritage was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-54 to Rockdale County.

Meanwhile, Redan lost 76-51 to Salem on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Seminoles are ranked 232nd).

Heritage now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Redan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Heritage couldn't quite finish off Redan in their previous meeting back in November of 2021 and fell 66-64. Thankfully for Heritage, Christian Kenerly (who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
