Recap: Judson Rockets vs. Dripping Springs Tigers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Judson Rockets can now relate to. They took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Judson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Dripping Springs is ranked 37th).
Judson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nathaniel Stanley, who rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns.

Judson bumped their record down to 4-8 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.7 points per game. As for Dripping Springs, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
