Oakridge gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions. The win continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Oakridge walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-4, 25-18, 25-21.

Coming up, Oakridge is taking a road trip to take on Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Legacy Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
