Volleyball Preview: Hot Cloverleaf Meets Field

The Cloverleaf Colts will head out on the road to square off against the Field Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Cloverleaf will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Cloverleaf made easy work of Springfield and carried off a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Cloverleaf's defense just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final set scores came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-5.

Meanwhile, Field got the win against Cuyahoga Falls on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Field walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-21.

Cloverleaf has now won eight of their last nine games at home. That run has powered them to a 13-4 record this season. As for Field, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
