The Paramus Spartans will face off against the Lakeland Regional Lancers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Paramus fell victim to Don Bosco Prep and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Ironmen. While losing is never fun, Paramus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while Don Bosco Prep are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, Lakeland Regional beat Passaic Valley 6-4 on Tuesday. Considering Lakeland Regional's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Lakeland Regional's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Paramus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.
