Football Game Preview: Bath County Chargers vs. Parry McCluer Fighting Blues

Bath County is 2-8 against Parry McCluer since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Chargers are taking a road trip to square off against the Fighting Blues at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Bath County's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Craig County on Friday. They were dealt a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Rockets. The shutout was out of character for the Chargers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Meanwhile, Parry McCluer entered their matchup against Craig County last Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Fighting Blues were outmatched by the Rockets and fell 33-6. The game marked the Fighting Blues' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Everything came up roses for Bath County against Parry McCluer in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 63-6 win.
