            Volleyball Preview: Nokomis Warriors vs. Cony Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Nokomis is 2-7 against Cony since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Rams  at 5:30  p.m.
Nokomis came up short against  Messalonskee on Wednesday, falling  3-0.
 While Nokomis was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Messalonskee's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17,  25-19.
Meanwhile, Cony sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over Edward Little  on Friday. The  win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Red Eddies: they've now won three in a row.
 Cony had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 14-25, 25-15, 25-20,  15-9.
 Nokomis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cony, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
