Soccer Recap: Batesville's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Franklin County last Saturday, Batesville came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Lawrenceburg Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Batesville couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, Batesville fell to 2-1-1. As for Lawrenceburg, they now also have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Batesville will venture away from home to square off against South Dearborn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrenceburg, they will head out to face off against Conner at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
