Basketball Recap: Prince of Peace Takes a Loss

Prince of Peace's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Country Christian on Saturday. The Prince of Peace Eagles had to suffer through a 59-25 loss at the hands of the Lake Country Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, Prince of Peace can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 993rd, while Lake Country Christian is ranked 180th).

Prince of Peace dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lake Country Christian, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Prince of Peace will take on Brazos Christian in a tournament on Saturday. As for Lake Country Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against East View at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
