Softball Recap: Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors vs. Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles

After flying high against Nute last Monday, Wilton-Lyndeborough came back down to earth. The Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors lost 15-3 to the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles on Wednesday. Wilton-Lyndeborough has not had much luck with Portsmouth Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

For Portsmouth Christian Academy's part, Marion Spurr made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Spurr was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Portsmouth Christian Academy let Kloe Mackenzie and Eliza Arwood loose on the outfield. Mackenzie went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a double, while Arwood scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kora Mackenzie, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
